ARE Garden grows!

The 2013/2014 school year was an amazing year of growth for the Alberta Rider Memorial Garden.  We were so pleased to see each classroom out during Earth Week, adding their personal touch to the garden, we were fortunate to have many of our families supporting the space by coming to the work parties and purchasing plants or tools at the auction and we were thrilled to see teachers using our amazing space and bringing their students outside to learn!

So, what’s next?  The classroom is our next big item on the hit list.  We’re optimistic it will be up and functional for fall studies and we cannot to see it in use.   We will begin plans to develop other areas of our beautiful space as well.  If you’ve spent any time in our garden space you know there is still a lot of room for us to grow!

So stay tuned, ARE garden supporters!  As we wind down the summer we will have a lot more details to pass on to you on how you and your family can get involved and help ARE garden grow!
